Blackberry Margarita

Blackberry margarita

This Blackberry Margarita with Lime and Rosemary is a very scrumptious martini. You essentially muddle the blackberry and rosemary, then add tequila and lime juice, and then shake it up.

You may like it tart just like that, but you can also add simple sugar or agave nectar to sweeten up, as many margarita recipes call for.

To garnish, just add a wedge of lime and a sprig of rosemary. The dark purple colors of the blackberry are gorgeous with that bright green pop of the lime and rosemary. This colorful blackberry margarita is very beautiful bev!

Consider a salt rim using coarse salt. You can easily multiply this recipe and serve in a pitcher for parties.

The Margarita Mocktail Version

To make a blackberry margarita mocktail, you can substitute the tequila with club soda, lime soda, lemon juice, orange juice or grapefruit juice. For example, you may make a margarita mocktail with 5 or 6 muddled blackberries, 1/4 cup orange juice, a splash of club soda, one fresh squeezed lime and simple syrup to sweeten to your liking.
