Banana Berry Hemp Seed Smoothie

Use hemp seeds, also called hemp hearts, in this banana smoothie with blueberries and raspberries for a refreshing breakfast drink.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • ½ cup raspberries
  • ½ banana
  • 3 tablespoons hemp heart seeds
  • 4-5 ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Rinse 1/2 cup fresh blueberries and fresh raspberries using a wire mesh sieve. Dry gently with paper towels.
  • Cut a banana in half and then cut one half of the banana into large pieces.
  • Add the fruit and milk to a blender and 3 tablespoons of hemp hearts. Then add ½ cup of milk, 4 - 5 ice cubes, ½ tablespoon of honey, and ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • Blend ingredients in a blender on medium high until well blended and the iced combined smoothly. Pour into a glass and garnish with extra berries. Serve cold immediately.
