White Chocolate Covered Strawberries

White chocolate covered strawberries are the perfect bite to make for Valentine's Day or for any occasion. This is a simple way to serve fruit with a little extra touch of white chocolate.

Ingredients

  • ½ lb strawberries (about 1/2 of a container or 6 - 8 strawberries)
  • cup white chocolate chip
  • salt

Instructions

  • Thoroughly wash your strawberries in a sieve and gently pat dry. In a small microwave safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips for 30 seconds. Stir, and then heat another 30 seconds. Stir, if the chocolate is still not melted, microwave again.
  • Grab a strawberry by the stem and dip it in the white chocolate. Use a small swirling motion to remove it from the chocolate so it doesn't continue dripping. Place on a tray lined with wax paper and sprinkle with a little salt. Repeat until all the strawberries are covered in white chocolate.
  • Allow the chocolate to cool and harden. You can put the white chocolate covered strawberries in the refrigerator to speed up the process of cooling.
