Dates stuffed with goat cheese and dates with a balsamic reduction make the perfect appetizer for parties to just to have on hand as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 8 - 10 dates (medjool or California with pits removed)
  • 2 ounces goat cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic glaze (balsamic reduction)

Instructions

  • First gather your ingredients.
  • Cut each of the dates in half and top each half with goat cheese.
  • Chop the chopped walnuts even more, making them finely chopped, and put them in a small bowl or a pile.
  • Dip each date half with goat cheese into the chopped walnuts, to top the cheese with the walnut pieces.
  • Set each date on a serving platter. Top with balsamic glaze, or balsamic reduction.
  • Serve with or without toothpicks. Dates are fairly sticky, so if you are serving them without toothpicks, have napkins on hand.
