Servings: 8
- 8 - 10 dates (medjool or California with pits removed)
- 2 ounces goat cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
- 1 teaspoon balsamic glaze (balsamic reduction)
First gather your ingredients.
Cut each of the dates in half and top each half with goat cheese.
Chop the chopped walnuts even more, making them finely chopped, and put them in a small bowl or a pile.
Dip each date half with goat cheese into the chopped walnuts, to top the cheese with the walnut pieces.
Set each date on a serving platter. Top with balsamic glaze, or balsamic reduction.
Serve with or without toothpicks. Dates are fairly sticky, so if you are serving them without toothpicks, have napkins on hand.
