Easy Eggnog Recipe with Alcohol

This easy eggnog cocktail recipe uses the traditional ingredients of cream and milk as well as eggs, bourbon or whiskey and nutmeg.

Equipment

  • Hand mixer or mixer
  • 2 large bowls

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Whole milk
  • 1 cup Half and half
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 4 Eggs (separated)
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup Bourbon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Instructions

  • Separate egg yolks and egg whites into 2 different bowls.
  • Beat egg yolks with sugar and vanilla.
  • Add milk and cream and beat about 3 minutes.
  • Add bourbon, nutmeg and cinnamon and beat briefly.
  • Beat egg whites until peaks stiffen.
  • Combine egg whites into egg yolk-milk mixture, folding gently.
  • Pour into a pitcher or directly into glasses and serve.
