Brine the chicken tenders by placing them n a mixing bowl with room temperature water and 2 Tablespoons of salt. Let the chicken tenders sit for at least 10 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
After brining, remove the chicken tenders from the salt water and pat them dry with paper towels.
Coat the tenders lightly with olive oil in a small bowl.
Line the chicken tenders on the baking pan, leaving about a quarter-inch to a half-inch between them. Season with salt and pepper.
Place a dollop of mayo on each piece of chicken, then brush it over to create a top coating.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top of each tender.
Bake in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until the tenders reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees. The cheese and mayo mixture will be golden and bubbling.
Place the tenders on a platter, sprinkle with dried basil, and serve.
