Bacon Roses

Bacon roses are tasty treats for men (or anyone!) for Valentine's Day or any occasions. Learn how to make a bacon rose bouquet with this easy DIY recipe.

Equipment

  • Toothpicks
  • Baking Pan

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 6 Slices Bacon
  • Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat over to 400 degrees.
  • Dust the bacon strips in brown sugar
  • Roll each piece of bacon into a rose. Start rolling with the hook of the bacon on the inside. Toward the end of rolling, make a few small twists to create a rose-like look.
  • Secure the rolled bacon with one or two toothpicks. Repeat for each slice.
  • Sprinkle each bacon rosette with a light dusting of cayenne pepper.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Optional: Dip the bottom of the cooled bacon roses in chocolate and cool on a wire rack for about 10 minutes.
